Owner of Peak, Ryan is a former local athlete graduating from St. Mary's High School as an all-conference and senior Anne Arundel County all-star basketball player. He continued his career at Western Maryland College while earning a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education.
Since graduating college in 2004, Ryan has held various positions in the fitness industry from personal trainer and fitness director in corporate gyms to strength and conditioning coach with private sports performance training companies. During his 11+ years of experience in the field, Ryan has trained prepared numerous athletes from high school to professional levels for a wide variety of sports such as football, basketball, lacrosse, tennis, golf, baseball, soccer, skiing, running, swimming, etc. Many of Ryan's athletes have been recognized as team captains, all-conference, all-county, all-state, all-american, and national champions.
Ryan also has experience working with general population to achieve fitness and performance related goals such as weight management, injury prevention, strength development, movement efficiency, etc. Ryan specializes in long-term program design, gait analysis and training, and maximizing performance potential through individual-specific resistance training, conditioning, and nutrition.
Ryan is passionate about helping his clients reach their potential through consistency, hard work, and smart programming. He practices what he preaches with his own fitness spending his time training for and competing in obstacle course racing while playing participating in recreational sports such as basketball, football, snowboarding, and golf.
